摄影给予了我很多近距离观察不同事物和不同群体的机会，在我探索不同的创作方式和表达方式的同时，也让我更加客观地去认知我周围的世界。《Kitsch In China》是我对中国式审美的一种反思，也是第一次尝试将自己的图片输出成实体的贴画；《Roleplay》，给了我一个和朋友近距离接触的机会，是对于个体挣扎的观察与共情；《Everything I Never Told You》是我自己曾经的经历与书中东方式家庭教育的连接，也是我第一次对书这个介质，对图像与文字的探索。作为一个目前还生活在中国的国际学生， 我希望我的作品和经历可以向以英语为主要话语权的艺术世界展现一个看待新时代中国年轻人的新视角。

Photography offers me opportunities to observe different things and people at a close distance. It makes me perceive the world around me more objectively while I was exploring different methods of creating and expressing at the same time. Kitsch in China gives me the opportunity to reflect on the culture and aesthetics in my country, and it’s my first time printing my photos as stickers; Roleplay brings my friend closer to me and helps me resonate with individual struggles; Everything I Never Told You is a connection between my experience and the oriental style of family education in the novel of the same name, and my first time exploring the media of book, and the combination of images and text. As an international student who grows up and is still living in China, I hope my work can bring up a new perspective of Chinese in the new generation to the Western-centered art world.
