在过去的15年以来,我一直努力学习舞蹈表演,并通过参与各类演出和比赛,不断地发掘自身技能与自身存在的意义。

现在,除了舞者与老师,艺术管理将成为新的探索旅途。我的研究方向以舞团、舞蹈剧院为主,将我本身专业方向与管理知识相结合,对英国种族平等舞团“黑色芭蕾舞团 (Ballet Black)”、特殊人群友好舞团“坎多科舞团(Candoco Dance Company)”,及伦敦最大舞蹈剧院“沙德勒之井剧院(Sadler's Wells Theatre)”等进行研究。包括他们的市场分析、受众群体分析、营销方法等,并从中了解到英国舞蹈市场的多样性,观众群体的年龄性别主要分布以及线上线下的多元化推广,同时探索研究各个团体在艺术市场中的发展前景。

沙德勒之井剧院(Sadler's Wells Theatre)作为我个人主要研究组织,我从最初的剧院信息调研、往年财务报告、受众群体、合作团体及其所涉猎项目等,到随后应用SWOT分析法对沙德勒之井剧院(Sadler's Wells Theatre)进行了内外部优劣势分析,最终为其制定未来三年可行的发展策略。通过搜寻大量报告及艺术市场政策,我发现该剧院在脱欧、调平政策(Levelling Up Policy)及疫情影响等情况下仍有资金匮乏的问题存在。因此,我针对这些问题分别创建了舞团合作表演及教育项目集资方案,提出合作方法及数字影院与赞助商会员套餐等不同解决方案,以实现剧院设施改善及预备专业舞蹈演员的培养。

Dance Producing Management

For the past 15 years, I have been studying hard to learn dance and constantly exploring my potential and meaning by participating in various performances and competitions.

Nowadays, apart from being a dancer and teacher, art management will become a new journey of exploration. My research focuses on dance troupes and dance theatres, combining my professional expertise with management knowledge to conduct research on the UK racial equality dance troupe 'Ballet Black', disability friendly dance troupe 'Candoco Dance Company', and the largest dance theatre in London, Sadler's Wells Theatre. By analysing their markets, audiences, marketing methods, etc. I could better understand the diversity of the British dance market, the age and gender distribution of the audience, and the diversified promotion both online and offline. At the same time, the development prospects of each group in the art market are also my exploration and research.

Sadler's Wells Theatre as my main research organization, started with theatre information research, past financial reports, audience groups, collaborative organizations, and their related projects. Then, I applied SWOT analysis to analyze the internal and external strengths and weaknesses of Sadler's Wells Theatre and ultimately developed feasible development strategies for the next three years. Through searching for a large number of reports and art market policies, I found that the theatre still faces funding shortages despite Brexit, Leveling Up Policy, and the impact of the pandemic. Therefore, I have created dance troupe collaboration and educational project fundraising plans to address these issues. I proposed digital theatre and sponsorship packages, in order to improve their facilities and training programme for pre-professional dancers.
